Street Cleaner

• 6am - 2pm / - Monday to Friday
• Immediate Start
• Temporary Assignment for 4 Months

This respected local council is seeking an experienced Street Cleaner labourer to work with their busy Waste and Cleansing team.

Duties will include:-

• Operate a range of equipment in City Clean Team including Whipper-snippers, hand-blowers, and other Small Plant
• Clean pollution control equipment, such as River Booms, pollution traps and storm-water pits.
• Undertake day to day operational requirements of the City Clean Team, including litter collection, weed control, removal of dumped rubbish and dead animals.
• Undertake emergency response requests as directed by the Team Leader Undertake other tasks and duties as required.

Essential requirements:

• Driving record require
• Must be happy to provide a medical clearance 
• White Card
• PPE Gear
• Ability to work without supervision
• MR/HR licence would be highly regarded

COVID-19 Vaccination certification: The successful candidate for this position will be required to provide evidence of their double vaccination status, or a valid medical contraindication certificate, prior to the department finalising the appointment of the candidate.
