This local government organisation is seeking an experienced Engineer to provide traffic engineering design advice to council. This is an exciting role for the right candidate and will commence immediately.

 

Duties and Responsibilities will include:

  • Investigate/ conceptually design traffic facilities
  • Managing project design delivery from inception to handover
  • Prepare reports for the Traffic Committee
  • Issue Work Instructions for works such as signs, lines , other traffic devices
  • Undertaking investigations, survey design, setouts and prepare estimates for local government projects

 

Essential requirements of the role:

  • Degree in Civil Engineering or Transport Engineering or equivalent experience
  • Previous experience in the design of traffic facilities is essential
  • Understand all relevant standards/ RMS technical guidelines
  • Knowledge of systems such as TRIM/ Pathway ( CRM)/ Tech One would be highly regarded
  • Drivers licence
