We’re looking for a proactive Business Development Consultant to drive new client acquisition with the flexibility of working on a part time basis.

Your Role:

This position focuses on identifying, winning and growing new business opportunities across both temporary and permanent recruitment solutions.

You’ll work closely with our consultants to convert opportunities and ensure a seamless client experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities

  • Build relationships with hiring managers and key decision makers

  • Conduct proactive outreach including warm calling and targeted cold calling

  • Open doors through professional, relationship-focused conversations

  • Present Recruitment Edge service offerings and solutions

  • Convert warm leads and self-generated prospects

  • Attend client meetings and networking events

  • Develop tailored workforce solutions for clients

  • Maintain CRM activity and pipeline reporting

About You:

We’re looking for someone commercially minded, relationship-driven and confident opening doors.

You will bring:

  • Proven B2B sales or business development experience

  • Recruitment industry experience (highly regarded, not essential)

  • Confidence making outbound calls and initiating conversations

  • A positive, professional approach to cold calling

  • Strong communication and negotiation skills

  • A proactive and persistent mindset

  • Confidence engaging senior stakeholders

  • Ability to work autonomously while collaborating with a team

  • Current driver’s licence and access to your own vehicle
