The Company:

With its' commitment to delivering a high standard of customer service and strong partnerships, this local council is looking for multiple customer service professionals to assist with their busy period over the next three months.

Your Role:

Multiple opportunities are now available within this experienced and supportive team of customer service professionals 

Some of your key responsibilities will include:

  • Answer all incoming customer calls in a friendly, professional and efficient manner including conducting follow up/outbound calls as required. 
  • Accurately record customer requests in the CRM system. 
  • Monitor call volumes and take proactive steps to ensure all calls are answered within adopted service standards. 
  • Provide back up to administration and front counter functions as required.
  • Undertake front counter responsibilities (including customer requests, applications, complaints, deliveries, visitor management, or other activities) to ensure transactions are processed in a timely, accurate and effective manner.
  • Utilise manual/computer systems to manage information flow between customers and Council ensuring information is accurate and appropriate

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Need to be flexible with working from Leichhardt and Ashfield Offices.
  • Superior Customer Service skills and demonstrated experience working in a dynamic environment. 
  • Positive & proactive attitude
  • Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision to achieve service standards.
  • Proven ability to effectively use multiple computer programs to provide accurate, consistent and complete information or solutions to customers.

COVID-19 Vaccination certification: The successful candidate for this position will be required to provide evidence of their double vaccination status, or a valid medical contraindication certificate, prior to the department finalising the appointment of the candidate.
