Bus Driver

Are you a responsible and skilled driver with a passion for ensuring safe and reliable transportation for passengers? We're seeking a dedicated Bus Drivers to become part of our team for our community in the Bayside LGA!

Responsibilities:

• Provide Courier service duties include delivering and collect items such as books, DVD's etc as per required and scheduled including deliveries for Council’s library services.
• Safely operate a 11-seater or 22-seater buses on designated routes during the school term and during school holiday excursions.
• Provide exceptional customer service to passengers, assisting with boarding.
• Fitting children's seats where necessary.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and company regulations to ensure passenger safety.
• Maintain a clean and organized bus interior.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and other team members.

Qualifications:

• Valid light rigid driver's license (LR).
• Work with Children Check required.
• Police Check with a clean driving record with no violations.
• COVID-19 Vaccination certification
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle challenging situations calmly and professionally.
• Prior experience as a bus driver is preferred.
