Trade Assistant

This respected local council is seeking an experienced trade assistants to work with their busy building operations team.  7am – 4pm, Monday to Friday with an RDO every second Friday. Consistent work

Duties will include:

• Maintenance of streets and park areas
• Respond and complete daily work orders for each site.
• Cleaning duties will include raking debris from trees off soft fall and in sand areas.
• General labouring duties in and around the public area
• Leaf blowing and general street cleaning

Essential requirements:

• White Card essential
• Steel toe cap boots essential
• High visibility shirt or vest essential
• Drivers licence essential 
• Carpenter experience is an advantage
• Ability to work without supervision
• Previous experience in a similar role

COVID-19 Vaccination certification: The successful candidate for this position will be required to provide evidence of their double vaccination status, or a valid medical contraindication certificate, prior to the department finalising the appointment of the candidate.
