Your Role:

As part of the Analytics team you will partner with colleagues in Brand & Engineering teams, Market Analysts & Data Scientists and take responsibility for interpreting & analysing data to deliver & develop analytics solutions, defining KPI's & metrics to create dashboards & data visualisation to support decision making & action plans to optimise business objectives.

Some of your key activities will include:

  • Supporting business units with developing analytical solutions to projects and requests by extracting and analysing datasets from a variety of sources.

  • Partner collaboratively with market analysts, data engineering teams and business unit stakeholders to gather requirements to design and execute analytics projects.

  • Developing, building, managing, creating and improving dashboards, reports and visualization to support decision making and action plans for business unit teams.

  • Identifying opportunities to improve data quality, integrity and reliability and implementing necessary measures.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Solid experience in analysing datasets, extracting valuable insights, and deriving practical solutions by utilising data analysis techniques like statistical analysis, data mining, and visualisation

  • Skilled in gathering requirements, defining business metrics and designing interactive dashboards using software such as Tableau, PowerBI, or similar tools while adhering to data visualisation best practices to create user-friendly and visually appealing dashboards

  • Proficiency in a programming language like SQL, R, Python for data manipulation and analysis

  • Analytically minded, strong commercial acumen, a curious mindset and love solving problems.

  • Well-developed communication and stakeholder management skills to effectively convey insights and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

  • Tertiary qualifications in mathematics, statistics, economics or scientific disciplines

  • Previous experience in the pharmaceutical industry or healthcare analytics an advantage
